Start a family tradition by joining the Henry County YMCA for our Annual Turkey Trot 5K on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at the Henry County YMCA. Our 5K route is perfect for families, strollers, and leashed dogs and will be open to runners and walkers. Finisher medals will be given to each participant upon completing the event. A light snack and water will be available along with your choice of hot apple cider or hot chocolate.

The Henry County YMCA is a non-profit organization strengthening the foundations of our community. 100% of race proceeds support our Annual Campaign, giving members of our community an opportunity for financial assistance towards programs such as swim lessons, summer day camp, preschool, and YMCA memberships.

The Henry County YMCA’s Turkey Trot is a great way to celebrate your blessings with your family while giving back to the community. By participating in this event, you will not only reap the physical, mental and emotional benefits personally, you will also be making it possible for others in your community to experience those benefits. Your participation in this event will help financially support a child participating in swim lessons, preschool, youth sports and programs. Your participation will also support adults at risk for developing Type II Diabetes by providing financial assistance for the Henry County YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program. This program provides individuals the opportunity to gain the knowledge they need to take small steps towards big health rewards and change their life. Your support will have a positive impact on our community that will last a lifetime.

In consideration of your acceptance of this form, I hereby waive, release and forever discard all claims, rights and causes of action of any kind or nature for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, against sponsors and organizers of the Henry County YMCA’s Turkey Trot their agents, servants, officers, employees, directors, representatives and assigns for injury or illness which may directly or indirectly result from my participation in the Henry County YMCA’s Turkey Trot, and I further agree to save and hold said parties harmless and agree to indemnify each of said persons against all liability for any loss, cost, injury or damage to persons or property which may arise by virtue of the undersigned engaging in the Henry County YMCA’s Trukey Trot. I further state that I am in proper physical condition to participate in this event. I recognize the sponsors have not undertaken to provide undersigned with any medical care, treatment or advice concerning my participation. I give the Henry County YMCA permission to use any pictures taken of me while participating in the Turkey Trot for the purposes of their own advertising.
